Client Need

Added Insight won the proposal for designing, developing and implementing the Warehouse Group’s Leading Retail 360° feedback surveys. They wanted three bespoke 360° Retail-based surveys to reflect the leadership requirements of the Warehouse Group’s retail leaders at varying levels of responsibility.

What We Did

Added Insight conducted a large scale 360° project for TWG involving the design, set up and roll out of 3 levels of Retail 360° Surveys across the business. The Group recognized that taking a 360° tool to first-level managers was a bold initiative, so making it simple, relevant and robust was going to take care and skill. The design brief was to write 360° items that were relatable to the organisation’s language and culture with a strong focus on day-to-day behaviours that could be easily observed and evaluated by employees who had little experience of 360° feedback. We developed relevant, simple and sound question sets – subject matter experts approved the bespoke 360° items. The 360° pilot and initial rollout of over 100 360°-surveys was successfully completed within the specified timeframe.

The Result

The client (Warehouse Group Learning and Development Team and their HR Business partners) were very pleased with the outcomes of the survey. The response rate for the 100 + participants was high. The 360° feedback reports have provided impactful feedback to the participants of the Leading Retail program. As a result, TWG considers this initiative a bold success, and the three 360°’s are now an integrated part of the 3 Leading Retail programme.
