- Aptitude and ability assessments/tests provide information on a person's potential, and not just their achievements to date
- Aptitude/Ability assessments and Personality tests are predictive of on-the-job performance
- Personality tests provide an insight into how a person characteristically behaves on a wide range of different situations and with different people
Being Representative
One of the most important factors in psychometric testing concerns how results are interpreted. Psychometric assessment scores are normally given in comparison
to a relevant norm group. For most of Added Insight's assessments, norms are available for New Zealanders, and Added Insight have the ability to create organisational
norm groups as well. The exception is Hogan Assessments, where all tests are compared against a very large international business population, however it is
possible to do benchmarking with organisational data with Hogan Assessments.
Otherwise known as Ability, Reasoning, or Aptitude testing, Added Insight offers different levels of verbal, numerical and abstract timed reasoning assessments.
